Solar-ready means installing the conduit run from roof to panel, reserving breaker space for the solar interconnection, and confirming panel capacity — during a build or renovation when walls are open. When you later add panels, the installer just pulls wire. It costs hundreds now versus thousands to retrofit.

It depends on your panel's busbar rating and existing loads — the code limits how much solar backfeed a panel can accept. Many 100A panels need an upgrade or a downsized main breaker to connect solar. We assess this up front so there are no surprises at installation time.

Yes. Ontario's net metering program credits your account for excess solar power sent to the grid, offsetting electricity you draw later. Your system must be properly interconnected with your utility — we install the wiring and metering provisions to their requirements.
